Real Madrid no longer pursuing Kane

According to The Metro Real Madrid have ruled out a move for Harry Kane this summer attributing this to reports in Spain.

Harty has won the Premier League Golden Boot for the last two seasons, and despite injury this term he has scored 35 goals in all competitions for Spurs.

The article adds that the piece reports that chairman Daniel Levy would not accept any bids lower than £300 million for Kane in an attempt to ward off interest from Premier League rivals Manchester United and Madrid.

And according to the report in AS, Madrid are no longer looking to pursue Kane this summer, despite being in the market for a new world-class striker adding that Madrid have been put off by our hefty valuation of the England international and also have doubts, and quite extraordinarily, over the player’s ability to fit in the squad due to his ‘introverted nature’.

Thr article adds how Kane denied reports in January that he was ready to sign a new £200,000-a-week contract with the club with his current deal ending in 2022.
