Report: Former Spurs man sold for under £300k could make move to Italian giants

Tottenham Hotspur sold Milos Veljkovic to Werder Bremen for just under £300k in 2016 but the Serbian may now be set for a huge move to Inter this summer (Bild).

Veljkovic made the move to Tottenham in 2011 from FC Basel and was set to be the next big thing having shown huge potential during his time at the Swiss side.

Bild claim that Inter and Lazio both have an interest in the Serbian defender, with both clubs able to fulfil his dream of playing European football.

The Serbian only made two Premier League appearances for Spurs which came in the 2013/14 season when he was just 18-years-old (Transfermarkt).

However, under Mauricio Pochettino, the defender failed to make a single Premier League appearance.

The centre-back was sent out on loan to Middlesbrough and Charlton before making a permanent move to Werder Bremen in 2016.
