Rose closing in on return

Danny Rose expects to be fit to face Manchester United at the end of this month.

An article by the London Evening Standard has said how Rose missed the games against Swansea, West Ham and AFC Wimbledon last week with a minor recurrence of the knee injury that kept him out for nine months until October.

However it does say scans suggest the problem is not serious and the left-back expects to return in around two weeks – in time for United’s visit to Wembley on January 31st

It goes on to say Mauricio Pochettino said at the beginning of the month: “After the game against Southampton it was impossible to train and now we are going to assess him. Then the club will give information about what has happened.”

Good for Rose and good for Spurs, however will he be still in Spurs colours then or be a guest of Manchester United for the game?
