Danny Rose will be absent for Saturday evening’s Premier League meeting against Manchester City due to a calf problem.

The full back is also seen as an injury doubt for the our meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion three days later.

In other team news young midfielder Harry Winks has been sent to Qatar to undergo rehab at Aspetar, which is a specialised orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital. as he continues to struggle with a long term ankle injury.

And finally Kyle Walker-Peters is the other confirmed absentee for saturday’s visit of Man City, with the right-back struggling with a hamstring strain.

We have yet to lose a league gamein 2018 and will mark a new club-record unbeaten run of 15 games if they avoid defeat on Saturday.

Will City be a wounded animal after a string of poor results or will they be there for the taking and how will Kyle Walker be received by the Spurs faithful. What are your thoughts on the game?

  1. Our unbeaten top flight ‘run’ between January and late August 1967, was our record ‘unbeaten’ run (20 actual league games even more competitive games, if you wanted to include our FA Cup run which resulted in us winning it). So best to do your research before putting this out. Unless you mean just ‘Premier League’ history, which is more in tune with what younger fans seem to know about these days. But a club’s ‘history’ is its record marker in time, whether it’s 1901 or 2018.
