According to French news outlet Telefoot, Liverpool have entered the now four horse race to sign Monaco forward Thomas Lemar this Summer.
In recent weeks, North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham have lead the way for the 21 year old’s signature, with the Italian Old Lady, Juventus, also rumoured to be interested in the exciting youngster.
However, French outlet Telefoot now claims that Liverpool have also entered the race for Lemar, due to talks with Roma stalling over a fee for Mohamed Salah.
Lemar greatly impressed during Monaco’s fairy-tale domestic and European campaigns last season, scoring 14 goals and providing a further 14 assists in all competitions.
Though Telefoot states Liverpool would be looking to sign Lemar as an alternative to Salah, Italian outlet Calciomercato claims the Reds could be aiming to tie up both deals, as the pace of the attacking duo compliments each other, as well as current squad members.
Skybet still has Spurs as odds on favourites to land Lemar at 10/11, with Arsenal the closest competitors at 9/2.
