Tottenham may be edging closer to their first signing of the Summer in 21 year old transfer target Davinson Sanchez, who reportedly refused to board the Ajax team bus ahead of their game against Heracles last night.
The versatile defender made the claim that he was not in the correct frame of mind to be playing for Ajax and is now widely expected to leave the Dutch outfit, with Spurs as current favourites to secure the Colombian’s signature.
Although European giants Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan are all rumoured to be interested in Sanchez, Spurs are set to launch the first bid of £28 million, according to The Daily Mail.
The Mirror however claim that Tottenham’s spending may eventually rise to roughly £35 million in add-ons for the Colombia international who’s current club’s attempts to keep the youngster with a new and improved contract now seem futile.
