Rumour Mill: Spurs Target Nearing Exit?

According to The Mirror, reported Tottenham target Demarai Gray is seeking specific game-time assurances from Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare if he is to stay at the King Power Stadium this Summer.

While interest in the 21 year old raises higher and higher, it has been reported that the winger has started applying the pressure to the senior management at Leicester City over his role in the squad.

The youngster scored twice during England’s Under 21s European Championships campaign and has since attracted interest from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.

However, Gray only started 9 league games for Leicester last season, making 21 further appearances from the bench as a substitute.

Now, The Mirror is reporting that Gray feels he deserves a greater role in the first-team if he is to remain at the King Power Stadium for another season.

It is widely believed however that Demarai Gray does not have a buy-out clause, and is tied down to a contract of a further 3 years.

Therefore, prising the forward from Leicester’s tight grip would demand a high transfer fee. Do you think we should make a move for Gray? What’s the maximum you’d spend on the 21 year old?
