Sandro: Inter and Roma want me

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro has revealed that Inter Milan and Roma are keen to sign him.

The Brazilian international however has insisted that he wishes to remain at Spurs and is happy just to be attracting interest. Sandro has established himself as a firm favourite among the White Hart Lane faithful for his tough tackling and energetic performances.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham value Sandro at at least £30million and neither Serie A outfit would be willing to meet the valuation.

Sandro told the press: “I have heard that Inter and Roma want me but I’m happy here at Spurs. I have had no concrete contact with anyone and nor do I want any, although, of course, it is nice to be appreciated.”

He added: “Of course we still want to win the Premier League. For now, though, the real goal is a place in next season’s Champions League. I felt for Andre but everyone knows that in football it is results that matter.”
