VIDEO: Sherwood remains upbeat ahead of Man City game

Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood has joked that his players would be scared if they watched the video nasty of their 6-0 November thrashing by Manchester City.

Spurs are preparing to meet them again at White Hart Lane on Wednesday and the WHL faithful are expecting a much different performance.  We all know it will be a tough task, but if we have aspirations of finishing in the top four this season.

City have been firing on all cylinders in front of goal, but their away form has been indifferent.  It should make for one hell of a game.

Sherwood told a pre-match press conference: “You might scare them, when you want to motivate them. They need to use that (defeat) professionally themselves. I always think that games boil down to individual errors, decisions making by individuals and if we win enough of our personal battles out there tomorrow night we’ll make a good account of ourselves. It’s all about that. If you win as many personal battles as you can, if you win more than the opposition then the team invariably wins the game.”
