According to talkSPORT Tottenham and Everton are set to battle it out over the signature of highly-rated Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney.
Both clubs are keen on the 21-year-old defender who is valued at £25m by the Scottish champions.
Everton are looking for a long-term replacement for veteran Leighton Baines and new toffees boss Marco Silva has reportedly set his sights on Tierney.
It’s added that Spurs have also expressed interest in bringing the youngster to the Premier League as Danny Rose’s future remains unclear
The Isle of Man born Tierney has already made over 100 appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ side and earned his first Scotland cap in 2016.
Both Spurs and Everton are yet to make any forays into the transfer market however Mauricio Pochettino and Marco Silva are keen to bolster their squads ahead of the new campaign
