Spurs battle for PSG left-back

According to The Mail we are among the clubs showing interest in Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa.

The article describes how the 25-year-old has been told he can leave Paris this summer as they look to raise funds with a number of player sales and it adds that he is keen on a move to the Premier League.

It goes on to say that Kurzawa was considered by Chelsea earlier this year and they retain an interest while Manchester United have also held discussions about the former Monaco defender after watching him this season.

The article also describes his Spurs expect offers for Danny Rose this summer and will sell if their valuation is met for the 27-year-old, with United and Chelsea also among his admirers with Jose Mourinho understood to favour more experience over a talent such as Kieran Tierney at Celtic.

It adds how Spurs have watched a number of left-back options themselves, including Tierney and Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand, while they may yet be interest in Luke Shaw from United.

Kurzawa joined PSG in 2015 and he has made 28 appearances this season, but with Financial Fairplay guidelines to be met he is one of a host of players PSG will consider selling with the likes of BrazilianThiago Motta and Argentine duo Javier Pastore and Angel di Maria.

We have a good rapport with PSG having bought Lucas Moura and Serge Aurier already this season.
