Recognise the surname? He is indeed the son of Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone and Simeone junior has netted 13 times in Serie A this season.
And now, according to Tuttosport, the 22 year-old Argentine is on the radar of several clubs ahead of this summer transfer window.
The reported adds that up to five sides want to sign Simeone, with Tottenham hoping to lure him to England, with Spurs probably being in the market for a new striker this summer if Fernando Llorente leaves.
The misfiring Spaniard joined from Swansea last year, but he has not featured regularly and will have only one year left on his contract at the end of the season and Simeone is viewed as a potential replacement for the 33-year-old, but Tottenham will have to fight off competition to get him.
It adds that French side Lyon are interested in the Fiorentina man, while a trio of clubs from Spain are after him in the shape of Sevilla, Valencia and Villarreal.
