Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on the signing of Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.
According to Italian outlet TMC, Lavezzi is set to depart the French champions after a series of arguments with boss Laurent Blanc.
At 30, Lavezzi is typically at the wrong age for Levy and co but could be available for just under £10million with current strikers Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado who are widely tipped to depart White Hart Lane over the course of the summer.
Lavezzi has failed to make a mark at PSG compared to the reputation he built up at Napoli. Some fresh attacking options is just what we need.
