Spurs Isco battle

According to The Sun we are in a three way battle to secure the signature of Spanish playmaker Isco after the star admitted he is unhappy at Real Madrid.

The article says we are interested in the Spanish playmaker along with Manchester City and Chelse and would hope to get him for a knock-down £40million.

The article says premier league clubs have been alerted after the forward confessed he is not happy at not getting regular starts underZinedine Zidane.

After scoring a hat-trick in Spain’s 6-1 thrashing of Argentina in midweek, Isco made it clear he is frustrated at the Bernabeu.

He said: “When a footballer doesn’t feel like he has a leading role and consistent playing time with his club, the national team gives him life.I have the confidence of my coach here with Spain. I still have the desire to keep working, to improve, to be a starter with my club.

He added: “At Madrid I don’t have the consistent playing time that a player needs. But I know the problem is mine, that I haven’t been able to earn it.I continue to work so I can show my coach he can count on me.”
