Spurs linked with loan for Real Madrid’s Isco

There may only be a few days before the transfer window ‘slams shut’, yet the Tottenham Hotspur transfer rumours keep coming thick and fast.

The Mirror are running a story claiming that Tottenham are lining up a move for Real Madrid’s Isco.

They claim that Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bring in the Spanish international attacking midfielder on loan for the rest of the season.

Why are Madrid looking to move Isco on?  According to the report, Real are under pressure to reduce the size of their squad from club president Florentino Perez who would prefer for James Rodriguez to be the player to remain with the current Champions League holders.

Isco joined Madrid three years ago in a £25million deal from Malaga and would certainly help to add some creative flair to the Spurs attack which is currently severely lacking – especially with the rut which Christian Eriksen seems to be experiencing.
