Spurs look to Celtic star

We are lining up a £20million move for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney, according to reports.

The Express claim the Spurs hierarchy have been keeping a close eye on the Scotland youngster, with Mauricio Pochettino is keen to replace left back Danny Rose, who is likely to leave this summer.

It claims Spurs scouting staff have been watching the 20-year old in recent months and is one of their main summer targets.

It goes on to describe how Tierney signed a new six-year deal at Parkhead last year but the highly-rated youngster has been on the radar of various Premier League sides.

It adds that Manchester United scouts have praised the Scotland ace, a potential replacement for Luke Shaw only last month it was revealed Tierney was being targeted by Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth.

Tierney came off the bench last night as the Celts were held to a 0-0 draw by Kilmarnock at Parkhead.
