Spurs look to Croatian forward

Spurs are interested in signing Croatia’s Ante Rebic, according to reports.

Rebic has been on loan with Eintracht Frankfurt since the summer of 2016, and a deal has been agreed to take forward to the Bundesliga side permanently from Fiorentina this summer.

However according to German publication Bild, Rebic has emerged as a target of Spurs, however it does add no official offer has been made or talks opened.

Five years ago Spurs tried to sign Rebic from RNK Split, with a £5m offer made for the then Croatia Under-21 international, however no deal could be agreed and he joined Fiorentina.

However he struggled to really establish himself with the Serie A side, and spent time away from the club on loan with RB Leipzig and Hellas Verona before finally settling at Eintracht and the article says the Bundesliga side are said to be open to selling Rebic as long as they receive upwards of £26m for him, as they have to pay a percentage of any fee to Fiorentina.
