Spurs midfielder snubs Serie A switch

According to reports Mousa Dembele has snubbed a move to Serie A side Inter Milan.

The Belgian midfielder was wanted by the Italian giants but he will assess all of his options when he returns from the World Cup.

According to The Sun Mauricio Pochettino will listen to offers for the Belgium international — but he will only leave White Hart Lane for the right offer.

It goes on to say Dembele will consider running down his contract and leaving for free next summer if the right deal does not arrive.

Dembele has previously declared that he will not play for an  English club and has taken advice from his fellow countryman about playing elsewhere.

Axel Witsel currently plays for Tianjin Quanjian in China, while Laurent Ciman is based in USA with MLS outfit Los Angeles FC.

Dembele is still a firm fans’ favourite at Spurs, but he has slowly seen his playing time reduced and faces a tougher battle to play regularly next year.
