Spurs tracking Villa youngster

According to the Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa ace Andre Green is attracting interest from us and Bournemouth, say reports.

The article describes how 19-year-old, who has recently returned to action following hamstring surgery, has broken into Steve Bruce’s first team over the last 12 months and is extremely highly-rated at Villa Park.

Ironically he made his Villa debut against Tottenham in the Premier League and has been watched by a host of top clubs since signing a new three-year deal at Villa in 2016.

The article adds that Villa reportedly would only entertain offers in excess of £10million for the youngster but it’s the reports understanding the club have no desire to sell.

It adds that Bruce sees Green as key to Villa’s future and plans to reintegrate him into the first team this month.

It goes on to say Green, who graduated from the club’s academy, made his long-awaited return to action against Peterborough United in last weekend’s FA Cup defeat and he came through another 60 minutes for the under-23s on Thursday night.
