Sky Sports are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur will not be making a move for England midfielder Adam Lallana.

After Mauricio Pochettino was named as the new boss at White Hart Lane last week, speculation grew that he could launch a bid to try and bring the Southampton star with him.

Liverpool are known to be keen to land the 26-year-old and have lodged a bid of £25million to try and bolster Brendan Rodger’s midfield ranks.

Lallana scored 10 goals in 42 matches for Pochettino’s side last season, but if Sky are to believed there will be no reunion between the two in Tottenham colours next season.

Instead, expect him to be a Liverpool player.

  1. Ha Ha we won't sign Lallana, he will cost us at least 30 million and Levy won't get that back, we must stop this type of nonsense reporting and start looking at 2 million nobody players who can be sold on for 12 – 14 million in a few years time.. wakey wakey !
