Tottenham are willing to let Toby Alderweireld join Manchester United… on one condition.
The Belgium World Cup star is a long-term target for Jose Mourinho, with the Red Devils boss keen to sign a centre-back this summer and Alderweireld tops Mourinho’s transfer wish-list.
According to Yahoo Sport, Tottenham are willing to let the 29-year-old join the Red Devils but only if the price is right and it adds that Spurs may sell for around £60m this summer.
The article goes on to say that United have received encouragement an agreement can be reached before this season.
Spurs were demanding around £75m for the Belgium star, who is out of contract next summer but Alderweireld’s representatives have told the Red Devils they are keen to finalise the transfer before the window shuts on August 9th
Alderweireld is currently still in Russia, with Belgium facing England in the third-place play-off on Saturday.
