FC Sheriff Tiraspol prepare to host Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Europa League Group K tomorrow evening and their manager Vyacheslav Rusnak says his side have fully prepared for the visit of the group leaders.
Tottenham can qualify for the round of 32 with a win in Moldova provided the other match between Anji and Tromsø, ends in a draw.
Sheriff are second in Group K and lie four points behind Spurs. The Moldovan club are unbeaten, having drawn their opening two matches.
(Russian with English translation) Vyacheslav Rusnak, Sheriff FC head coach: “We prepared very seriously for this game. For every player of our team its a big opportunity to show abilities what we can. And tomorrow we’re positive that all our players will do their best to achieve good results.”
This is the clubs’ first meeting in UEFA competition – and it is also Sheriff’s first encounter against an English team.
