Wanyama talks to take place this week

Further talks between Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur will take place this week over the proposed transfer of Victor Wanyama according to the Daily Mail.
The Southampton midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs for over 12 months and following Ronald Koeman’s departure from St Mary’s, speculation has been once again growing.
Spurs are said to have offered around £11million for the 24-year-old who has just a year to run on his existing deal before he is able to walk free.  Southampton are apparently looking to hold out for the full £12.5million which they paid for the Kenyan international when they signed him from Celtic in 2013.
The arrival of Wanyama would likely spell the end of Ryan Mason’s career in N17, with Bournemouth said to be keen to sign the midfielder who came through the ranks at Spurs.
