Five Year Deal For Trippier

According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are set to offer Kieran Trippier a new contract which would see the 26 year old stay in North London until 2022.

Trippier found himself in rotation with Kyle Walker towards the end of last season, who was previously the first-choice right-back at Spurs.

As well as earning his first ever cap for England, Trippier is also expected to be the first-choice right-back at Spurs next season, ahead of Kyle Walker, who’s future at the club looks in serious doubt amidst major interest from Manchester City.

The recent England debutant managed 5 assists in just 12 Premier League appearances last season which saw him lead the defender’s assists charts alongside team-mate Kyle Walker, despite considerably less game-time.

Despite having 3 years left on his current contract, the full-back, who signed from Burnley for £3.5 million in 2015, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino seems intent on nailing down all of his key players before the Summer transfer window officially opens on the 1st of July.
