The Cyprus international who normally plays as a winger was deployed as a left-back during the match. He settled into his role without problem, proving that he can be a versatile player in any system that Pochettino decides to run with.

He provided good pace along the flanks when pushing forward and was able to track back defensively when required. At one point, he blocked an incoming cross into the box and forced a corner – saving a potential goal-scoring opportunity.
