Rafael van der Vaart believes that Tottenham Hotspur should make a move for Hakim Ziyech.
The Ajax winger has been in impressive form for the Dutch giants this season having scored 8 goals and provided 21 assists in 28 matches in all competitions (transfermarkt).
Van der Vaart was holding a Q&A with supporters on his official Instagram account and revealed on his story that Spurs should raid another of his former clubs.
The 36-year-old claimed that he hopes that the North Londoners can recruit the Moroccan winger who he feels is the type of player which Jose Mourinho’s squad needs whilst also believing that it is a move which would help the player to test himself at a higher level.
Italian outlet CalcioMercato previously claimed that Ziyech has been given the green light to seek a move away from the Amsterdam club this month if his asking price of £42.5million is met, with North London rivals Arsenal also said to be interested.
