ok I left off the draw which from memory was a poor result and felt like a defeat coming at home. My point is that his record does not look so good when you look at the cup defeats. I am getting fucking pissed off that my comments are being attacked by some members on a couple of threads because they disagree with me. I have been on this forum for some time and only this week have I received targeted comments such as fucking bollocks. I did not agree with the appointment of Sherwood. Nothing has changed that opinion. All the top teams except us have an experienced Manager. When it comes to the crunch matches that will tell. He is living off Ade having a point to prove and from past experience that will not last. The Swansea result was no better than the Sunderland one & yet AVB got sacked shortly after that. I disagreed that Sherwood has done anything to justify a longer contract but did not expect the response. Player unrest is showing with 3 players being mentioned as wanting to leave. He has no experience with dealing with expensive players with egos which is where AVB failed. I am wondering whether it is not Capoue who I think shows promise but the Defensive Midfielder position he does not like. That being the case we will not see Sandro in his normal role. I notice that many posters have Sandro in their team for next week and if he is not playing then as I said his tactics are taking us nowhere. I am finding supporters on other sites sharing my views. The problems at the club are deeper than a novice Manager and Levy must take a lot of the blame for selling our best players and constantly changing Managers. Turks has put a different argument which I respect but in my view the forum is for people to express different views. My view is Sherwood is not up to Managing a club of this size and winning 5 matches has not altered that. I expect different views to mine but lets follow Turks example and express them in a proper way.

    Man U just got better

If Chelsea are serious about wanting Rooney this only makes sense if he goes the other way.

    Berbatov

Think he would be as good as Keane was second time around. Not the player he was.

I agree Sandro should always play when fit. He is said to be fit now and if he does not play the next match it will just confirm to me that Sherwood does not want to play a proper defensive midfielder and that his tactics will lead us nowhere.

BPL Masterclass but what about Europe?

Not only should we want to do well in the Europa but I do not see how it can be good to be out of the FA Cup. No match this weekend is not good. Some of my best memories are watching us win the F A Cup. Far better than getting 4th in the league. AVB got the rotation right and whilst you cannot just play the same players every match you still need to play a strong enough team to win. Harry got that so wrong. Still remember watching a reserve Spurs team losing in the league cup against the scum. Every competition has to be taken seriously. If you have not got a strong enough squad to play to win in every competition then you do not deserve to be in CL.

Let's Hear it For Tim! Extend His Contract!

I am nothing like fucking general stupid and never supported his crap.Fucking getting knocked out of the F A cup by the scum is not bollocks or have you forgotten it. It was only 2 weeks ago. We were crap for 90 minutes that day. Crap for 45 minutes last week and 30 minutes today. So yes it is getting better. But far too soon to be considering that Sherwood is deserving of a contract extension. That to me is fucking stupid.

Let's Hear it For Tim! Extend His Contract!

I sat through 30 mins of hardly touching the ball and then we scored with our first shot. I am still smarting from losing to the scum and if you can shrug that off so easily then you are easily pleased. Why are we the only team in the top half with an inexperienced Manager, why are we the only team in the top half that changed last year' s successful team.? I wish we could turn the clock back 12 months when we were a better team going places but we can not. I do hope we get a more experienced manager in the summer that can take us forward. Sherwood is not that man. He is still new and yet there is a lot of talk of players wanting to leave.

Let's Hear it For Tim! Extend His Contract!

No way do I think Sherwood has done anything to justify an extended contract. The first 30 mins we were second best and did not have a shot. There was nothing there to make up for losing to the scum only 2 games ago in such a dismal fashion. Looking forward to our match next weekend. Oh no we are not playing. Looking forward to a league cup semi final. Oh no knocked out by the spammers. He is much too inexperienced for a top team and will be found out.

Let's Hear it For Tim! Extend His Contract!

You seem to have overlooked the abject displays and defeats to our nearest rivals. The performance against the scum was one of the poorest performances in a NLD I can recall. Based on today's performance most certainly not.

    Selling Caulker - a mistake?

When you play for a team near the bottom of the league you have to defend more and thus either get found out or improve. Play for a team in the top half and for a defender it is much easier as you are not under so much pressure as the team attacks more. Some of the best defenders play for teams nearer the bottom. The difference between a team near the top and bottom is much more to do with the difference between the attacking players. I therefore do not think for a defender that it is a backwoods step to play for a team lower down the league. Yes he plays more for Cardiff than he would had he stayed but he would have got enough matches to have got in the England squad if good enough.

    Selling Caulker - a mistake?

Not hindsight for me as I said at time that he should not have been allowed to leave. I doubt one less change would have made that much difference but in my opinion Caulker is a better defender that Chiriches although chiriches is better at bringing the ball out. Caulker has not got in the England team by moving. With our injuries he would have played and if he is going to get in the England team he needs to oust Dawson which on Dawson's form this year he would have done.

    January Window

Been the policy over recent years to either sell or send players on loan in January and when injuries occur we are left short. From what Sherwood has said it will happen again. He has said some May leave but no new signings.

Would have preferred Dempsey on loan and neither good enough.
