Europa League Full Draw Last 16

Ajax Vs Young Boys

Olympiakos Vs Arsenal

Dinamo Zagreb Vs SPURS

Man Utd Vs AC Milan

Slavia Praha Vs Rangers

Granada Vs Molde

So Zlatan will make a return to Old Trafford, let's hope he's in the mood to score a few. Olympiakos knocked Arsenal out on away goals last season so maybe they can repeat the performance. Rangers with a tough tie against Slavia Praha who knocked Leicester out in the last round.

It could have been a lot worse for us all things considered and I am (quietly) confident that we can move another step towards winning this. Huge advantage to be playing the second round at home and massive incentive to get precious away goal(s) in the first tie.

I know it sounds unpatriotic but if Arsenal and Man Utd went out this round you would not see any tears from me. I'd love to play Rangers in the final and stuff them. :two:

FIRST ROUND 11TH MARCH

SECOND ROUND 18TH MARCH

Brilliant draw in my opinion, Im sure there will be a couple upsets across the round but id imagine we will go through with a similar approach to the Wolfsberger fixtures.

Always prefer to start away... allows us to have better approach and game plan for back at home!

It could have been much worse. The next round down to 8 s0 is likely to involve a much tougher  opponent as will the semis and final. That's when the competition starts for us.

Trust Woolwich to be drawn away again. Two matches can not be played in the same City on the same night, so we will have to see whether we get a Wednesday again or play on the Thursday.

Jose Mourinho was asked for his reaction to the Europa League draw, which paired Tottenham with Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.

"I played against them with Real Madrid in the Champions League. Croatian football is Croatian football, lots of talent. It's a football country," he said.

"Good stadium, I believe we are going to play there, good stadium. Not a very difficult flight, not too far.

"I feel positive things but the most important thing is that we get to the quarter-finals."

Jose really should go on Mastermind....specialist subject : The Bleedin' Obvious

Article here about having to perhaps change the fixture because we clash with Arsenal and they have priority over us. Bearing in mind that the reason for this 50 kilometre ruling was because of fans clashing and that no fans currently attend matches it does seem the more sensible option to just let things stand. Then again when did UEFA ever take the sensible option ?

This is Mourinho's last chance to prove he is a little bit special still. As with all games but if it keeps play and players like Dierier n  Sanchez to me he's lost it.

Europa been a good distraction for us after the poor prem results build confidence again got a good feeling about this we might actually get some silverware this season and this is a good one to get at least we can say with some sort of European champions it's been a long time.

Last I heard was they were reconsidering because of covid restrictions....surely sense will prevail.

I said is was a nonsense. Hopefully DL complained explaining about no fans, and the change back will happen.
