Report: Spurs offer academy starlet new contract after four-goals against Arsenal

Tottenham have offered academy star Samuel Amo-Ameyaw a new scholarship contract, according to Football Insider.

The 15-year-old winger gave a hint of what is to come from him in the future on Wednesday, after scoring four goals for Spurs in the 9-0 thrashing of Arsenal in the U17 Premier League Cup.

Sources have reportedly told Football Insider that Amo-Ameyaw’s display has since caught the attention of the club’s seniors, who have now offered him a scholarship to continue his development at Tottenham into next season.

The offer would see the England U15 international remain with Spurs ahead of next year’s intake of players into the club’s academy.

Spurs view Amo-Ameyaw as a talent to secure for the future and hence are looking to move swiftly to keep him in North London.

He has already broken into age groups further up the ladder this season, registering one appearance for Spurs U18s this season in the Premier League 2.
