Benoit Assou-Ekotto has spoken of his delight at joining Queens Park Rangers on a season-long loan deal.
The Tottenham left-back has failed to feature under AVB in pre-season and in our opening Premier League matches and links up once again with former boss Harry Redknapp.
Danny Rose is now AVB’s first-choice left-back, while it’s likely that Jan Vertonghen will be used when needed as cover in the position.
Many Spurs fans have questioned the decision to loan out BAE – however, reading between the lines it appears as if the Cameroon international has no future at White Hart Lane under the current management.
“I enjoyed my best form at Spurs under him and am looking forward to doing my best for QPR.
