Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Erik Lamela from Roma for a club record fee.
Erik made a total of 67 appearances in all competitions for Roma, scoring 21 goals. He also has three full caps for Argentina.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder came through the ranks at River Plate and made 40 appearances before joining Roma in 2011.
If Lamela’s registration was completed by 12pm today (Friday), he would be eligible to play against Arsenal on Sunday – however this has not been confirmed at this stage by the club.
