Who should lead the Tottenham forward line next season?

Since the sale of Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur has not had a consistent 20-goals-a-season striker, not including Gareth Bale’s superb performances last season. In order to reach our ultimate goal of Champions League qualification we really need to invest in a high quality, proven striker.

In this article we look at possible signings and current strikers which could do the job at Spurs after missing out on Barca’s David Villa.

Ok, so this wasn’t a Spurs victory. However this game had it all. David Bentley gave us the lead with a stunning long-range effort against his former side, only for Arsenal to take control and lead 4-2. Jermaine Jenas brought the score back to 4-3 in the 89th minute, then up stepped Aaron Lennon to bury a Luka Modric effort which hit the post to create absolute scenes in the away end.
