Winger’s agent welcomes Spurs interest

The agent of FC Twente winger Nacer Chadli has welcomed apparent interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Belguim international operates on the right wing and would add some extra competition for Aaron Lennon, who had a fantastic campaign but needs to add more goals to his game. In comparison, Chaldi scored 16 times albeit in a lesser league.

AVB’s Spurs are yet to make a formal approach for the 25-year-old, who is also said to be attracting interest from Liverpool and Aston Villa.

Apparently, reports in Holland claim that Swansea City have already had a £7million offer rejected, with FC Twente said to be wanting more around the £9million-mark.

‘It has been known for a while that Tottenham are interested in Nacer,’ His agent Daniel Evrard told Dutch press.

‘We would welcome this move, but I don’t think the two teams are in talks yet.

  1. what the bloody hell is wrong with levey if heis not willing to back this teem then he should go as he has cost us too maney good players with his waiting games

  2. Personally, I do not like the back seat, waiting approach that Daniel Levy employs, I've never been that way when it comes to wanting something that is of benefit to me, I just go out and get it. The last two seasons should have been a lesson when it came to the Transfer Window and it cost Spurs a guaranteed place in Champions League, so instead of waiting, why not go out there and hammer out a deal for 4-5 players and make a statement of intent.
