Parker joins Fulham on three-year deal

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Scott Parker has left the club to join Fulham.

Former boss Harry Redknapp has been keen to take Parker to the Championship after both clubs agreed a fee, however he has decided to stay in the Premier League with Martin Jol’s side.

The 32-year-old has penned a three-year deal with his new employers, which will keep him contracted at Craven Cottage until 2016.

Parker told the official Fulham site: “I’m delighted to be joining Fulham and I’m looking forward to meeting my new teammates at training tomorrow morning. Fulham is an established Premier League club and I look forward to trying to help the team progress even further over the next three years.”

He made 63 appearances during his two years at White Hart Lane.
