Madrid want Bale to submit transfer request

The Sun are today reporting that Real Madrid want Gareth Bale to submit a written transfer request to Spurs in order to force a transfer.

The paper claims that Bale will be too polite to take on Daniel Levy and will back down at the first sign of confrontation – they also claim that if a move was to materialise, the fee would be £80million.

We all know that Bale still has three years to run on his contract at White Hart Lane and the club are said to be ready to offer him fresh terms worth £170,000-a-week. Madrid are apparently ready to offer him £10million a year and the lure of Champions League football.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has already spoken of his admiration of the Welshman and is said to be ready to do whatever it takes to bring him to the Bernabeu.

So, yet again it’s another day of Bale rumours. Would you sell Gareth Bale for £80million?
