Spurs announce squad for Barclays Asia Trophy

Tottenham Hotspur have announced the squad which will travel to Hong Kong to take place in the Barclays Asia Trophy next week.

It’s great to see that Sandro and Younes Kaboul are both included in AVB’s squad, while those of you who are wondering where Paulinho is. Don’t panic, he has been given some extended leave after his exploits for Brazil in the Confederation Cup.

Our opening match is against Sunderland on Wednesday 24th July and depending on the result, we could face one of Man City or South China FC on Saturday 28th July.

Goalkeepers – Hugo Lloris, Brad Friedel, Heurelho Gomes.

Defenders – Kyle Walker, Kyle Naughton, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Jan Vertonghen, Michael Dawson, Steven Caulker, Younes Kaboul, Danny Rose.

Midfielders – Aaron Lennon, Andros Townsend, Gareth Bale, Tom Huddlestone, Mousa Dembele, Sandro, Scott Parker, Jake Livermore, Tom Carroll, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Lewis Holtby.

Forwards – Clint Dempsey, Jermain Defoe, Emmanuel Adebayor.
