Tottenham Hotspur have released six players ahead of next season.
David Bentley, who cost us £15milion in July 2008 when he signed a six-year deal in a move from Blackburn Rovers is among the players who have been let go. The other high-profile names to leave White Hart Lane are William Gallas and John Bostock.
Gallas joined Spurs three seasons ago on a free transfer from Arsenal, there has been speculation that he could move to QPR. John Bostock who was tipped as a future England international failed to live up to the hype and was most recently playing on loan in the MLS.
