Spurs target keen on Premier League switch

Tottenham target Younes Belhanda has again expressed an interest in playing in the Premier League.

The 23-year-old who plays for Montpellier can operate as an attacking midfielder and on the wing has previously been linked with a move to White Hart Lane and also to the Library lot as well.

Belhanda, a Morocco international is ready for a fresh challenge despite being under contract until 2015 and ideally wants to play Champions League football – which obviously he won’t get with us next season.

I’ll admit, I’ve never seen Belhanda play so whether he would be a good addition to our squad is a grey area. Maybe some French football followers can give us some further info by leaving some comments below…

Belhanda told L’Equipe: “Next season? I don’t know. I have contacts but nothing concrete.

“I want to go to England or Germany. I believe I am made for that football, both physical and technical with a lot of risks.

“My wish is to play in the Champions League next season, but I could sign for a club with big history.

“I will not learn anything else in France. I know how we play here. I need a new mentality, new excitement.”

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. i think he plays that sort of vdv role and i believe we need a more creative midfielder plus we have sig,,holtby and dempsey that could play that role.

  2. Dembele always flatters to deceive. Running across the park with no penetration. Always caught in possession.
