Tottenham target Younes Belhanda has again expressed an interest in playing in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old who plays for Montpellier can operate as an attacking midfielder and on the wing has previously been linked with a move to White Hart Lane and also to the Library lot as well.
Belhanda, a Morocco international is ready for a fresh challenge despite being under contract until 2015 and ideally wants to play Champions League football – which obviously he won’t get with us next season.
I’ll admit, I’ve never seen Belhanda play so whether he would be a good addition to our squad is a grey area. Maybe some French football followers can give us some further info by leaving some comments below…
Belhanda told L’Equipe: “Next season? I don’t know. I have contacts but nothing concrete.
“I want to go to England or Germany. I believe I am made for that football, both physical and technical with a lot of risks.
“My wish is to play in the Champions League next season, but I could sign for a club with big history.
“I will not learn anything else in France. I know how we play here. I need a new mentality, new excitement.”
