After last night’s disappointing defeat to Manchester City at Wembley, there was a nice surprise for Tottenham Hotspur fans this morning.
Eagle eyed Spurs fans who monitor the construction of our new 62,062 seater stadium spotted that our club crest had been added to the exterior of the west stand.
The majority of Spurs fans were left frustrated when the news broke last Friday that the new stadium will not open until 2019 and the remainder of our matches this year will be moved to Wembley.
Whilst the delays are disappointing, there is absolutely no doubt that the stadium is going to be one of the very best in the world.
Hopefully Mauricio Pochettino will still be in charge to lead us out at our new home, after speculation is mounting that Real Madrid want him as their new manager.
