Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter at half time after watching their side’s ruthless performance against Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho’s side got off to the worst possible start when a poor decision from Davinson Sanchez saw the Colombian bring down Anthony Martial, from which Bruno Fernandes scored the resulting penalty.
Rather than drop their heads, Spurs pushed forward and pressure from Erik Lamela paid off when Tanguy Ndombele buried the ball beyond David de Gea.
After which the tide of the game turned in Tottenham’s favour when Heung-min Son netted a second following some quick thinking from Harry Kane.
Son later returned the favour to Kane to score the away side’s third following some high pressing after United attempted to play it out from the back.
Spurs have punished United who were reduced to ten men following Martial’s red card and added a fourth through Son following some good play from Serge Aurier down the right.
Here is how some Spurs fans have reacted at half time with their side leading 4-1 against the former Premier League champions.
Second half we need to make this as embarrassing as possible, RUN THAT BACK TURBO!

Doubted him when team announced but Aurier has been brilliant. I am an idiot. Two players in every position will do wonders for us

You’re not a proper Spurs fan unless you’re thinking that we still might lose this. #MUNTOT #COYS
