Christian Eriksen has been the subject of increased transfer speculation over the past couple of months.
The Dane is out of contract in 17 month’s time at Tottenham Hotspur and has yet to agree on a new contract to extend his stay in North London.
Real Madrid have heavily been linked with a potential summer switch (talkSPORT) but based on his performances in recent weeks, they may want to turn their attention elsewhere.
The 27-year-old, who is known for his attacking flair has failed to deliver in the final third of the pitch and as a result Spurs have struggled to unlock the opposition defence.
Eriksen was almost invisible in Saturday’s defeat at Burnley and was once again ineffective during the disappointing 2-0 defeat to Chelsea.
Spurs failed to register a shot on target at Stamford Bridge which just sums up the current problems.
His performances have lost some Spurs fans frustrated and they have even shared their views on social media.
Christian Eriksen would be worth about a fiver if it was going off his performances this year.

Eriksen has been anonymous recently. He knows he can be class on his day, but he drifts in & out of it far too often, probably why he hasn’t been picked up by another club yet. Looked so, so half arsed tonight & for the best part of the last few weeks. Not good enough.

It’s really nice of Eriksen to decide to leave and then play like a cunt so we won’t miss him.

Eriksen doesn’t look arsed yet again.

Eriksen isn’t even trying to hide that he doesn’t care anymore.
