AVB on Bale inclusion

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has admitted that he took a risk in playing Gareth Bale in the 1-1 draw against LA Galaxy.

Bale withdrew from the Team GB Olympics squad due to a back injury and now speculation has risen suggesting the Welshman could be banned for the start of the Premier League campaign should the FA complain to FIFA. I’d like to find a sportsbook review to put money on that! Bale was not fit to beguin the Olympics and has been building his fitness yup with Spurs – after all we are the one’s who pay his wages! Talking of betting I’m fancying us to win the FA Cup this season – are the odds available yet.

But before placing my hard earned money on any team it surely pays to read some sportsbook reviews and related articles.

He scored during the encounter with the MLS side and was a surprise inclusion when many of us thought he was a doubt for the Premier League opener against Newcastle.

“He came back to us during this week,” said Villas-Boas.

“He was on alert for us to control the amount of effort that he put in. Gareth is, of course, young and physically a beast, so he was able to put in the effort and we extended that because we want him to complete a certain amount of minutes before we start the season.

“You could say that we took a risk. Ten minutes into the game he was stretching himself, so he was feeling a little bit of muscle tightness but that was controllable.

“I just welcome his recovery, that’s the most important thing for me. To have a player of this dimension available is fantastic.”
