Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has reassured fans that Gareth Bale will be fit to face Swansea City on Saturday.
There was doubts over Bale’s fitness following their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Croatia but AVB insists that his star player will has returned from international duty unscathed.
The news that Bale is fit is a massive boost. There’s no news yet on whether the same can be said about Aaron Lennon and Michael Dawson who both had to withdraw from the England squad.
AVB told the pre-match press conference: “For us club coaches we are happier when (the players) return and when they return with no injuries.
“We’ve been lucky because of the change of habits, the change of training, the travelling, there are always minor issues that can happen.
“But most of the boys are here and most of the boys are fine. Gareth is fine.”
