Banter – Funny tweet bursts the Man United bubble

Manchester United have possibly been the biggest surprise package this season, but not in the way their fans would have wanted.

The Jose Mourinho era came crashing down earlier this month, with United sacking the Special One and bringing in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on an interim basis.

The Red Devils’ attitude on the pitch has definitely improved, as the players look as if they have had a weight lifted off their shoulders.

However, United fans should not be getting carried away with the transformation under their former striker despite the fact that Betfair reviews have tipped the Old Trafford outfit to finish in the top four.

One twitter user has come up with a bubble-bursting comparison between United’s last three games, and how the rest of the top six performed against the same clubs.

Ole has already beaten Cardiff, Huddersfield, and Bournemouth as Manchester United boss, but unfortunately, so has everyone else.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, City, and Liverpool all beat these three sides in the first half of the season.

Not exactly achieving the impossible, but let’s hope Solskjaer turns the United team around and gets offered a full-time job. (Nothing to do with Pochettino).
