Bayern Munich confirm pair are fit to face Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur will return to action in the Champions League on Tuesday night when they welcome Bayern Munich to North London.

Spurs will be looking to make up for throwing away a two goal lead in the opening fixture of Group B following their 2-2 draw against Olympiacos.

Bayern sit at the top of the group after their comfortable 3-0 win at home to Red Star Belgrade and are considered by james-promo-code.co.uk as one of the favourites for the competition.

The German giants scraped past Bundesliga newcomers Paderborn 3-2 on Saturday and have been boosted by the news that two first team players will be fit to face Mauricio Pochettino’s side (Bayern Munich official).

Ivan Perišić, who is on loan from Inter Milan missed the Bundesliga match at the weekend with a flu-like infection and will be joined on the plane to London by Lucas Hernández.

The defender was passed fit earlier today after overcoming a knee problem which forced him off at half time during the victory.

Bayern will head to London tomorrow morning and will train at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow evening as part of their preparations for the match.
