Former England captain David Beckham is thought to favour a move to Tottenham rather than Paris St Germain when his contract with Los Angeles Galaxy expires at the end of the MLS season this month.
Big spending PSG are keen to sign him, director of football Leonardo worked with Beckham during the midfielder’s time on loan at AC Milan.
Beckham was close to joining Spurs on loan last season but a deal could not be completed and he instead spent time at the club to train to stay fit.
