Blanc steps down as France boss

0

Laurent Blanc has just reportedly left his post as France manager.

Blanc has been heavily linked with the vacant managerial post at Spurs, although Andre Villas-Boas is the frontrunner with some even expecting him to be unveiled at the new Spurs surpremo on July 1st.

Blanc’s contract with France ended after their Euro 2012 exit to Spain and is rumoured to was disappointed by a perceived lack of support from the FFF after media criticism of the French performance.

So, over to you. Who do you want as Spurs boss? AVB or Blanc?

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Blanc is being installed has our director of football and Avb has coach just heard this at Charles de Gaull airport in the gents toilet waiting for my plane home from Paris

  2. Unquestionably Blanc. My worry is that unless players respect their manager, then he's on a loser. Doesn't matter that AVB was successful at Porto … players talk between clubs because they're generally mercenaries … the Chelsea players will have messaged their Spurs mates and AVB will instantly be on a loser and he hasn't got a wardrobe full of medals as a player to fall back on either. Blanc ticks several of those boxes and therefore stands a better chance to get through to the players.

  3. At this point it appears between Blanc and AVB. Germany's national team manager is also available.. The big thing now is to make a decision. Way too much stuff in limbo! we need to get it settled:
Modric Vertonghen, Siggurdson etc. The delays are not helping the team. Let's get it done.
