VIDEO: Bale dominates talk as Real Madrid get ready to face Athletic Bilbao

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti faced more questions about the possible transfer of Gareth Bale.

The Italian said it was difficult to concentrate on preparing his side to face Athletic Bilbao in La Liga. At a pre-training news conference, Ancelotti said he did not want to talk about the transfer market but was later drawn into responding to a question about whether the Bale saga was as frustrating for him as it has been for the media.

Ancelotti said: “Listen, I’m working with my players everyday and my mind is not on the players that are not here because we have to work, we have to prepare the training, so for me this is absolutely not frustrating, I am happy to train with these players. If another one comes, I will be same happy”.

He added: “It’s a good team. Athletic de Bilbao showed a good organisation, they won the first two games. They are in good shape, they have enthusiasm because they started the League well. We hope we’ll do our best. Of course we have the opportunity to win but we have to play 100%”.
