Charlie Nicholas on who will come out on top between Spurs and Watford

Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas has shared his opinion ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s match against Watford on Saturday afternoon.

The Premier League returns to North London following the international break with Spurs seeking their fourth top flight win of the season.

The Hornets head into the match still looking for their first victory after only managing to pick up three points from their opening eight matches.

Nicholas believes that it will be another frustrating afternoon with both sides playing out a goal draw.

Spurs will be without club captain Hugo Lloris following the dislocated shoulder he suffered in the 3-0 loss to Brighton while Christian Eriksen is considered a doubt with the dead leg he sustained on international duty with Denmark.

He told Sky Sports: “Watford will be working away with Quique Sanchez Flores, despite some poor results since coming back to the club, with Tottenham coming back at sixes and sevens after the international break. They are all over the place.

“Christian Eriksen remains unhappy, Dele Alli did not receive an England call-up, with their unpredictable defence topping it off. More woes for Tottenham.

“Prediction: 1-1.”

Opinion

Anything less than a victory will certainly keep the media spotlight on Mauricio Pochettibo and his players.

Nothing less than three points will do in the eyes of Spurs supporters.
