“Cheese-less” – Spurs ask fans to sum up the stadium in just one word

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been giving their one-word description of the brand new 62,062 capacity seater stadium.

28,987 supporters were lucky enough to witness the first ever game to be played at the club’s new home on Sunday when the Under 21 side beat their Southampton counterparts 3-1.

Many of those who were in attendance recorded their own photos and videos of the stadium, both at pitchside and throughout the vast concourses on all sides of the ground.

The stadium was originally scheduled to open for the visit of Liverpool in the Premier League last September only for issues with critical safety systems to force the club to shelve the curtain raiser and leave supporters having to make the trip to Wembley for home fixtures for nearly six more months.

The visit of Crystal Palace on 3rd April will see a sell-out capacity crowd watch the first ever Premier League game at the new arena.

Here is how some Spurs fans summed up the stadium on Twitter after being asked by the club to do so.
